Now some people say that alcohol is good for you in moderation..

..Could someone please tell me how much that is??

I think I missed the cut off point for weekly moderation somewhere around..err...Tuesday.
Drinking the lions share of a bottle of vodka is not particularly moderate. Still it was dr_f_dellamorte's actual birthday. bigcat23 and speednik came round and we drank and then played with chris's Wii. once we got to the point that we were going to damage things we stopped Wiiing. and carried on drinking. Then Pam and chris left. We carried on drinking. I think I may have smoked something too. oops

Tristan and Han went to bed. And I carried on drinking.
Then in a flurry of drunken creativity I remixed "starfleet" which was good.

Woke up on wednesday and got through the day then went to visit Pete. He was already drunk by the time I got there, it would have been rude not to join him! several cans later, we listened to the codex machine radio show (quite odd listening to it from somewhere other than the room it is being recorded in) And I stole (well, copied) a ridiculous amount of music off pete's computer, including entire discographies of Sonic youth, Weezer, Fugazi, Nirvana, Neil Young, Broken Social Scene and Cat Power. there were some happy albums there too, I promise. ooohh and all the Devendra Banhart albums yay!

Pete fell asleep so I left.

Thursday=work. I don't really remember much other than that.

Friday was work too but that was followed by Dellamorte's official Birthday party at The Eden Collective night at the bedroom bar, although It should have been renamed the LJ bar. everyone was there!

I also met braisedbywolves and the rather lovely therealjo. which was nice.

Will was there too, he gave me a leg massage in the chill out room. which probably looked really dodgy.

We all drank lots and danced lots and I managed not to let p_dan_tic talk me into drinking flaming sambucas.

some people came back to ours and we stayed up until the wee hours listening to music and chatting. I must got to sleep just after about 7 I think.

Woke up and went to the cafe round the corner for a fried breakfast. mmmmmmm
Chilled for a bit before going to work, which was not the easiest shift I've ever had to work, despite being told that I don't have to do anything except help customers...3 hours in and I was practically falling asleep, luckily blue_gooseberry was just as bad so we generally hung around not doing much except chatting and leaning against the information point.
I swore I wasn't going to drink again for quite some time.

Yesterday, after the radio show, I went to camden to meet Jo for a few drinks in The Hawley arms and had a really nice evening, despite being caught in the rain on the way and having to wait for ages for a night bus in the freezing cold on the way home.
yeah, the warm bit inbetween was nice though.

Today I woke up at 6am because, well, I don't know why.
I'm really, really bored and am meant to be tidying my room but apparently watching LJ waiting for something to happen is more exciting. I may have played some warcraft this morning. hmmmm

Tomorrow is Tuesday again and johnimus_prime is coming to stay. this may involve beer.
