So another year draws to a close and I feel strangely compelled to compile some kind of top ten(ish) ALBUMS OF THE YEAR!!! (said in big boomy voice!)

There have been loads of good albums this year, what are your favorites? give me lists please! I'll collate them and then start some kind of polling system, to figure out what we all think are the best ones.

I'm just looking for nominations at the moment so don't worry about putting them in any order of favour just yet, Also list as many as you like.

I'll leave this post viewable to anyone so feel free to get your friends to get involved too, the more people that take part the better the results will be, right?

I'll close this first 'round' on wednesday and hopefully have the voting round ready to go before the end of the week.

I'm so naff and old that pretty much the only thing I bought that was actually released this year (which wasn't a Mike Oldfield, Queen + Paul Rogers or Extreme album) was Stainless Style. Thankfully, it's great!
